Designer, Karl Lagerfeld Suits

The Designer, Suits will contribute to the creation of a commercially relevant and brand-right product line that balances trend-driven fashion with the customer’s needs. Line & Product Design • Build seasonal assortments from concept research and sketch through final approved prototypes • Pull swatches, research inspiration styles, and identify emerging trends to drive development • Create accurate technical sketches, tech packs, and oversee sample development • Collaborate with technical design to correct prototypes and ensure quality construction Qualifications & Experience • 4–5 years of apparel design experience required • Must have proved tailored wovens experience • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop • Strong flat sketching skills — both hand and digital • Proven ability to resolve fit and proto issues collaboratively with technical teams • Knowledge of varied garment construction techniques across multiple product categories • Experience working with overseas factories and vendors • Strong trend awareness and ability to translate concepts into commercial product • Exceptional organizational, follow-through, and detail execution skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate cross-functionally • Experience mentoring junior talent or managing contract resources is a plus As global experts in design, sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, and marketing, we support a powerful portfolio of 30+ owned and licensed brands across the fashion industry through innovation and strong partnerships.
