Our client, a swimwear manufacturer, is seeking a Designer- Junior’s/Women’s Swim to join the team in New York. Responsibilities: Manage the color and print direction for each collection Responsible for researching markets in order to identify new trends, fabrics, techniques, etc. Sit in on all fittings with the technical design team Manage the entire design process from concept to development to production Collaborate with the entire creative team cross functionally Partner with the sales team and sit in on buyer meetings during collection presentations Provide recommendations regarding seasonal themes, edits to line, new concepts. Experience with Zoom is encouraged Prior experience working with Browzwear is a plus Strong leadership experience – ability to inspire and motivate a team Strong organizational skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, print processes, details and fit Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
