We're a junior contemporary fashion house located in the Arts District of Los Angeles, looking for a creative, self-motivated individual to design + develop monthly collections from concept to samples. Responsibilities Reports to Creative Director Ongoing research + development of new ideas in trend, fabric, treatments, novelties, etc Design, sketch + develop monthly collections from concept to samples Create trend, color stories, comp shop reports, CAD presentations Create development tech packs Work with patternmakers, sewing team, vendors to execute line samples Attend fittings, collaborate with pattern + technical team Manage deadlines with good communication Keep detailed line sheet/records of all pieces in the collection Guide/collaborate with design + cross-functional teams Qualifications Good technical knowledge of fabric, garment construction Min 3-5 years experience in a design role Collaborative, team-oriented Highly inspired + motivated by fashion, incl shopping, social media Willing to travel if necessary Creative, self-motivated, inspired! Organized, attention to detail, effective sense of urgency Salary: $70-$95K, DOE La Mamba offers medical and dental and 401K benefits *Full-time, on-site only
