DESIGNER - Contemporary brand

Lucy Paris is an established Young Contemporary brand and we are currently searching for a talented and experienced designer to join our growing team.The Designer will be responsible for all aspects of the design process.Duties: Translate design direction and fabric/trim selections into original designs Create original flat sketches based on existing trends and mainstream designs Work with Design Team to create tech packs, ensuring designs accurately translate into development samples Collaborate with Trend Forecasting Team on seasonal trends and concepts Research trends and bring in new ideas through competitive shopping, magazines, websites, and runway show Train and mentor Assistant and Associate Designers Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Apparel Design Must have 3 years of Contemporary Design experience Must have 5 years of Design Experience Must have ability to sketch by hand and with Illustrator Must be proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and Word Must have strong interest in fashion design, color sense, merchandising ability and general market knowledge Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
