DESIGNER-Contemporary brand

Lucy Paris is an established Young Contemporary brand and we arecurrently searching for a talented and experienced designer tojoin our growing team.The Designer will be responsible for all aspects of the designprocess.Duties:- Translate design direction and fabric/trim selections into   original designs- Create original flat sketches based on existing trends and   mainstream designs- Work with Design Team to create tech packs, ensuring designs   accurately translate into development samples- Collaborate with Trend Forecasting Team on seasonal trends   and concepts- Research trends and bring in new ideas through competitive   shopping, magazines, websites, and runway shows- Train and mentor Assistant and Associate DesignersQualifications:- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Apparel Design- Must have 3 years of Contemporary Design experience- Must have 5 years of Design Experience- Must have ability to sketch by hand and with Illustrator- Must be proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Excel,   and Word- Must have strong interest in fashion design, color sense,   merchandising ability and general market knowledge- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
