Backpack/Handbag designer role on a small, creative, energetic team that creates innovative product within a larger business model. The Role of Designer entails designing Kids product collections that are primarily backpacks with a supporting assortment of complimentary handbags and accessories. Our growing Product Development team is looking for a Designer who is passionate about products and gaining a deeper understanding of what goes into bringing a product to life from conception to the finished product. The ideal person for this role will be energetic, eager to learn new things, be available to assist with various projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment Responsibilities: Works with Category manager to research and develop concepts, trends, fabric direction and product design CADs bag design concepts for team Prepares design presentations for review meetings Works with Category Manager to create and update Specs & Tech Packs for all design development. Measures product samples, reviews samples against specs, and creates comments sheets.
