Design Women's activewear & athleisure collections for a heritage brand Perform market & trend research Produce flat sketches, line sheets and visually pleasing CADs Create tech packs with full construction details including fabrications, trims Research and source new fabrics & trims Communicate with factories daily to develop and track samples Attend fit sessions and communicatre design changes to vendors Collaborate with TD, Production Dept. and Sales Design new packaging & hangtags for special projects as needed. 3-5 years of experience ind esign, preferably in activewear Experience working directly with overseas factories Proficient in creating quick, accurate flat sketches Must be organized, self-motivated with attention to detail and high level of accuracy Excellent communication & follow up skills Adobe CC - Illustrator & Photoshop Strong knowledge of garment construction & performance fabrics Strong eye for fit and silhouette Must have high taste for fabrics Positive, can-do attitude Position is based 5 days onsite in NY office
