Job Title: Designer - Activewear Create sketches for development, draw in illustrator (most important) • Proficient in illustrator flat sketches • Strong photoshop/illustrator/InDesign • Create CAD presentations for internal and external use with speed and accuracy • Hands on knowledge of the textile market • Knowledge of fabric and print • Ability to create print artwork, put in repeat, rescale and recolor • Conceptualizing it from inception to finished product. • Good understanding of the Fashion Trends • Setting a color story, working with fabric, and coordinating pieces that sit together. • Working with factories to source fabric, trims, and prints for line development. • Corresponding with factories • Must be able to spec and do fittings • Working with production teams to ensure quality product • Maintain daily organization and organize all material for design creation • Source fabric, prints and trims for line development • Created CADs, technical sketches and photographed garments for collection/chase accounts
