Designer - Accessories (Hybrid from NY)

We are seeking an Accessories Designer with strong product design expertise across soft and hard accessories, including jewelry, bags, cold weather accessories, belts, scarves, hats, gloves, and other lifestyle items. The Accessories Designer will partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Sourcing, and Quality to ensure timely execution, cost targets, and product integrity. Strong knowledge of materials, construction techniques, and trims across accessories categoriesUnderstanding of color theory, print and pattern development, and how to apply these to seasonal accessories assortmentsAbility to create flat sketches, technical drawings, and detailed design specificationsExperience translating trends into brand-right product for the Lands’ End customerFamiliarity with global vendors, factories, and suppliers within the accessories spaceStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsDemonstrated ability to independently manage complex design projectsProven capability to mentor and develop junior design talentEducation & Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or a related field; equivalent experience consideredAdvanced degree preferred but not required5-8 years of professional experience in accessories design, preferably within lifestyle or apparel brands The pay range for this position is $76,000 - $103,000.
