The Design Manager will build effective collaborative relationships with their cross functional partners and maintain the unique look, integrity and vision of our brand. Responsibilities: Key Accountabilities: Develop creative ideas and product awareness in order to produce a creative and competitive product that will help grow the business Research competitive markets to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques Ensure that the product is consistent with market trends while maintaining the brand identity and business strategy Concept and execute silhouette, fit, and styling directions Set seasonal fabric and trim direction, working with Product Development, Production, and Technical Design Teams regarding QA results and development issues Ensure that production/sampling packages are accurate and complete Handoff to appropriate team members on time Work with Designers to establish development specs, designate all materials, ornamentations, and details and work directly with HK office to maintain updated development status Manage and deliver based on seasonal calendars and meet all deadlines Mentor, coach, and counsel direct reports on performance expectations Education and Experience:
