Design Intern

**WHAT IS THE JOB?**

As the **Design Intern**, you will work closely with the SM & AM Design teams to assist with tasks related to the entire product development lifecycle. You will help coordinate, track, and organize product samples, input/update tech packs within our PLM system, and assist with the daily needs/responsibilities of the design department. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

**WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?**

* Prepping samples (measuring, inspecting, pressing).
* Assisting with prep for presentations (pulling samples, steaming samples, help with pulling together boards, etc.).
* Helping to organize sample library (by style category).
* Work within our PLM system to assist in updating tech packs, specs, & trims.
* Prepping Design Boards.
* Organizing Files.
* Sample Coordination.
* Assisting with product quality issue remediation.

**WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIALS?**

* Technical Skills - must be able to measure garments in both imperial & metric.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Must be fluent in English and proficient in written and oral communication.
* Humble, Motivated, and resourceful problem solver with a team player "no task is too small" attitude.
* Have a hunger to learn new skills and show patience in the process.
* Flexible, positive, and creative mindset with ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. High sense of urgency.
* The ability to work comfortably and efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.
* Experience working with Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
