Design Assistant

Job Title: Design Assistant- RTW Company: PISTOLA Position Requirements: BA or Associates degree in apparel design Indesign and adobe proficiency Photoshop skills a plus Techpack experience and proficiency ability to create didgital sketches and CADs Looking for a highly motivated assistant designer who is very organized and ready to learn and grow! Position Responsibilities: Organize seasonal development information for Ready to Wear categories On a weekly basis, communicate revisions of seasonal development to the Creative Director and Director of Merchandising via weekly edit memo On a daily basis maintain communication with outside vendors and track via the WIP report Prep and maintain samples going to outside vendors Attend, prep and recap development meetings Create and maintain visual merchandising boards for RTW Assist with creating tech packs for development: Denim and RTW Assist with graphics related projects such as: graphic tee artwork, prints, photo shop retouches and hangtag development Prep and organize samples for seasonal photoshoots -
