Childrenswear company looking for a Design Assistant who loves the children’s market and is willing to learn, be challenged in a fast-paced environment, and work with a great team with room to grow. Responsibilities Include: Create CAD sketches of styles in development, inclusive of trim as needed Work closely with designers to create, update and prepare technical packs for sampling Coordinate and upload sample packages and provide color and reference samples to the sample room as necessary Maintain product development logs, line sheets, fabric and color library, design archives library, and inspiration boards Receive and review samples with designers and send sample comments to the factories Special projects as assigned 1+ years of experience in related field and/or strong internship experience. Proficient knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, and Outlook running on Apple Mac computers. Must have strong organization and communication skills with the ability to prioritize. $50,000 - $55,000 per year
