Design Assistant

Just For Wraps, Inc., We have an immediate open position for a Design Assistant with the experience and qualifications listed below. Create P.O’s for fabric sample orders Assist with design and development for multiple categories Create detailed flat sketches using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Assist with presentation materials such as line sheets and look books Create and maintain style library including tagging samples, taking photos and fabric/trim information Learn and understand the basics of the production process. Maintain the flow of samples leaving and returning to the design room Create and update CADs and line sheets Dye trims or send them to the dye house Take photos and tag garments that are cut inhouse Set up cutting when designer is not in Create fabric page of all available info Organize prints as PDF to send to buyer Prepare production tech packs 0-2 years of hands-on experience in a position with similar responsibilities Very high level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Strong fashion, color sense and trim knowledge Ability to translate sketches to detailed flat sketches Strong knowledge of Excel, Word Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency We offer excellent benefits- medical, dental, vision, vacation, holidays, paid sick time off, 401k with company match.
