Curated Style Associate

We are seeking a Curated Style Associate who shares our love for independent design, rich natural fibers, and the effortless comfort of unique, slow-fashion pieces. Your role is to guide our customers toward comfortable, one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories that match their creative spirit and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

Mindful, Low-Pressure Styling: Engage with clients to understand how they want to feel in their clothes reflecting their clothes personality and use in their lifestyles such as work, play, travel to name a few.. Guide them toward effortless layers, unique drapes, and statement pieces that marry art with everyday wearability.Fabric & Construction Storytelling: Use your knowledge of textiles (such as washed linen, organic cotton, silk, and textured knits) and independent/artisan brands to help clients appreciate the quality, ease, and origin of our curated inventory.Visual Merchandising: Keep the sales floor looking inviting, warm, and highly visual. Style mannequins and clothing racks to showcase creative layering, rich color stories, and interesting silhouettes.Build Community Connections: Create genuine, lasting relationships with our regular shoppers. Keep track of their favorite fabrics or aesthetic preferences, and reach out when unique, "perfect match" pieces arrive in consignment.Daily Shop Flow: Assist with tag-in processes, maintain beautiful clothing presentation (steaming and organizing), and run point-of-sale transactions with warm, professional hospitality.Visual Merchandising & Shop Upkeep: Keep the sales floor looking inviting, warm, and immaculate. This includes creative clothing displays as well as routine light cleaning like vacuuming, dusting, and keeping the floors fresh.Working as a Part of a Team: Our work culture values individual skills and strengths but relies upon your ability to work as a well-functioning team that is cohesive in nature. You also become a team member serving our clients, helping them learn about Curated Boutiques' approach to clothes, jewelry and accessories and building a personal style.Qualifications & Skills

A Passion for Artful Style: You have a personal eye for design, texture, and creative fashion. You understand how to style relaxed, comfortable clothing so it looks intentional and elevated.Client-First Heart: You are warm, intuitive, and a great listener. You prefer genuine connection and helpful styling advice over aggressive, high-pressure sales tactics.Textile Knowledge: You know the difference between synthetic fabrics and high-quality natural fibers, and you understand how different cuts drape on various body types.Boutique Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in specialty retail, boutique environments, or art/design-focused spaces is highly preferred.Computer Skills: Comfortable with retail software, account management and MAC hardware environment.
