CREATIVE PROJECT MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR

Marketing channels include but are not limited to catalogs and other direct mail, newspaper, magazines, out-of-home, signage, email, site content, digital editorial events, display, social (paid & organic), video, affiliate and custom content. Who You Are:Coach and develop team by managing performance, providing ongoing feedback, driving critical thinking, leading teams to search for non-standard solutions when required and making structural changes as needed Drive continuous improvement of project management processes by persistently identifying opportunities in existing processes, working with teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and designing new processes as needed Build robust knowledge of capabilities and capacity across functions; be a subject matter expert on Saks operations and understand the business in order to push the thinking (vs. just pushing the timeline) Actively monitor project status to ensure quality and timely delivery, and proactively communicate and address any challenges that put projects at risk Resolve obstacles and manage change requests as they arise, working with cross-functional colleagues to adjust timelines, project scope and/or resources as needed Conduct project post mortems with teams as needed Communicate any process changes, tool updates, training and timing for implementation as required Own overall administration of Box collaboration tool and Wrike workflow tool, including admin functions, user access, file structure, file management, change management, etc. You also Have:Bachelor’s degree required 8-10 years of relevant experience (agency or retail operations experience a plus) Resourceful self-starter and solution-seeker who demonstrates a high level of initiative and intellectual curiosity Effective leader who is skilled at managing and developing a team and has a proven track record of driving change, influencing (especially at a higher level) and stakeholder management Proven change agent who is comfortable navigating through ambiguity and complexity, and able to swiftly mobilize team to meet changing demands Collaborative partner with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Exceptional organizational skills and excellent attention to detail Solid understanding of customer needs and willingness to always place the customer first (both internal and external) Knowledge of digital media project workflow, processes, and best practices Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, GSuite, collaboration tools, workflow management tools Familiarity with Adobe creative applications and Box is a plus Understanding of web development and site validation processes Familiarity with web technologies and content management systems Your Life and Career at HBC:Be part of a world-class team; work with an adventurous spirit; think and act like an owner- operator!
