Costume Seamstress/Tailors/Constructors/Ateliers/Cutters

We are looking for people of all skill levels as pay will be according to experience and skill level. We need efficient people who want to work and you can work as much as you want to! PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS; Fabric Cutting Pattern Cutting Garment Assembly from instructions Constructor to take sketches to life from paper to reality Pattern Making & Grading Ability to create Tech Packs and Follow Tech Pack instructions Advanced Clothing/Costuming Alteration experience Knowledge of working with woven, stretch, latex, vinyl, spandex and faux leather fabrics Tailor Mens and Women's Clothing Refurbishing and Restoring Costumes Previous experience and knowledge working with Industrial Sewing Machines (Top- Stich/Interlock/Handsewing) Business Casual appearance and demeanor (we listen to music everyday in the office and allow anything that helps you to complete more garments and work in your desired state of mind as long as it isn't sacrificing quality or efficiency 😃) Knowledge of Fabric Care and Preservation Experience working with Feathers and Sequins a plus plus plus - We love to work with Epoxies and Hot Glue - You can be as creative as you want here!! Instruct and assist with the training of others on the Team of your proven or learned skillsets so we can thrive and grow. REQUIRED SKILLS: MUST BE WILLING TO SIGN NDA upon first day of employment Basic Organization Skills and tidiness Operation of power sewing equipment Ability to stand, walk, sit, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, lift, push and pull up to 50lbs Max Able to work in all weather conditions and arrive to and from the office or work remotely according to schedule from Home Possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the assigned job duties Self-Motivated and able to work without supervision or micro management General knowledge or passion for Fashion, Sewing, Costumes Proactively follows through on all aspects of Projects and Timelines Construction and Fabrication of assigned tasks Attention to Detail Hours are flexible but maintain a strict schedule with accountable deadlines This position has the ability to build your own schedule and work as much or as little as you want however we are looking for people who are ready to commit as much time as possible and those candidates will be given priority and preference.
