Corporate Responsibility Specialist, Sustainable Business Operations - PVH Corp.

POSITION SUMMARY:The Corporate Responsibility (CR) department’s mission is to support our brands, regions and functions to drive fashion forward for good. The CR Specialist will focus on supporting to embed sustainable business practices into PVH business operations globally. This will include supporting adoption of sustainable materials and updating and developing resources that support business practices.The successful candidate will exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills, strong quantitative and qualitative analytic capabilities, effective problem solving, and high attention to detail. Textile Exchange, Sustainable Apparel CoalitionSupport annual CR reporting for sustainable product, including SME engagement, information and data gathering, Q&A, and writingSupport the development of programs to embed sustainable product design into the business including:Evaluating product assessment tools such as the SAC’s Product Module or Material Sustainability IndexDeveloping KPIs for evaluating productEstablishing a global process across different brands and regionsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Experience: At least 3-4 years relevant experienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree required, an advanced degree in environmental science, corporate responsibility, public policy is preferredSkills:Experience working on one or more of these specialties: responsible sourcing, environmental sustainability, corporate responsibilityFamiliarity with sustainability, CSR, and ESG reporting frameworks and surveysStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong research, benchmark and quantitative and qualitative analysis skillsKnowledge of and experience working with product sustainability standards, certifications and organizations, e.g. BCI, SAC, preferredAbility to explain complex data and content in a clear and impactful way with target audiences in mindAdvanced proficiency in using MS Excel to combine and analyze data from various sources, and generate reports and graphicsAdvanced proficiency with PowerPointPrevious engagement with the Textile Exchange, BCI, SAC, or comparable industry working groups and knowledge or prior experience with SAC’s Materials Sustainability index or similar tools, a plusKnowledge or experience in the apparel industry, consumer goods industry, product development or supply chain preferredExperience in sustainability / corporate responsibility consulting, or general consulting is preferred but not requiredProven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environmentStrong problem solving abilities with a solutions oriented mindsetExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenHighly motivated and eager to learn new topics, systems, and toolsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented#LI-YN2 PVH Corp. or its subsidiary ("PVH") is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
