COPYWRITER - Lifestyle Brand

Company Description: health + wellness CPG lifestyle brandLocation: Los Angeles, CAKey Responsibilities: - Help hone the brand's voice to ensure it is consistent and strong across every user touchpoint.- Develop a trusted brand voice throughout the customer journey and lifecycle by crafting compelling and conversion-driving copy across the marketing funnel- including campaign and trigger/flow emails, paid social, website, podcasts, paid media, merch displays, and offline channels.- Own copy creation for all marketing communications, brand campaigns, growth needs, and website assets.- Ability to take sensitive, highly personal subject matters and turn it into messaging that is an invitation, engaging, and resonates with our audience.- Lean into data and work with the Marketing team to understand performance of creative assets so we can constantly learn and improve.- Continually help to refine processes to effectively deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced environment in a timely manner.- Work cross-functionally with Product and Marketing teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure brand strategy and alignment.- Maintain and sharpen the brand's voice while evolving the brand's content strategy alongside company leadership.- Contribute to regular brainstorms.- Ad hoc copy requests as needed.Position Requirements:- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.- Min. of 4+ years of copywriting experience primarily with digital brands, working at a DTC/D2C/e-commerce company or agency; startup experience is a plus!- Previous experience working with DTC/e-commerce companies within health + wellness, cosmetics, CPG, fashion apparel, and other relevant industries.- Ability to think conceptually and passion for branding, storytelling, and producing engaging content and campaigns.- Comfortable writing across a variety of digital channels with proven experience writing for performance channels including, email, landing pages, and paid ads.- Have an understanding of how and when to write emotional consumer facing copy and also quick conversion driving copy.- A love for collaboration and owning a project from start to finish.- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.- Great at receiving and welcoming feedback.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- A passion for sexual wellbeing and deep comfort level writing copy for related topics.- Exceptional grammar, writing, copyediting, and proofreading skills- Working knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.- An interest in refining process to help improve workflow across the team.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Have a strong entrepreneurial in spirit.Compensation Package:- Competitive Salary Base- Health Insurance Coverage- Generous Paid Time Off- Observed Company Holidays- Remote WFH Flexibility- Excellent Corporate Culture- Free Product + Employee Discounts JBCStyle is the leading full-service search firm owning the niche industry of fashion recruitment.
