Consignment Shop Team Member

Labels Consignment is a family-owned and -operated small secondhand clothing shop. We’re excited to have you join our team and grow with us. This is a heavy customer-facing role - community members, customers and consignors all walk through our doors and are all assisted with a smile, kindness, and a helpful attitude Maintaining acute awareness of surroundings Scheduling/changing/tracking consignment appointments Reviewing items for consignment by assessing condition for holes, stains, odors, missing buttons, excessive wear Processing and preparing items for consignment (inventorying in consignment software, tagging items, lint rolling, fabric shaving, steaming items). Inventory management Calm under pressure, stay focused in a fast-paced environment Maintaining knowledge of brands, current styles, and different fabric qualities Knowledgeable about causes and organizations we fundraise for Cashiering: handling cash, processing credit cards, use POS system, bagging up purchased items Maintains merchandise, organization and overall cleanliness of the shop Constantly monitor the store for loss prevention Friendly and professional communication with customers, consignors, staff and community by email, Instagram DM, phone, and text Acts with integrity and respect Adapts to changes required by the business Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail Respectfully interacts with a diverse group of people from different backgrounds Use sound and thoughtful judgment when making decisions Work with owners and team members in a harmonious way Maintains autonomy and stays productive Occasionally assist with special event coordination Why do you want to work at Labels?
