Following this, the brand has continued to open piercing and jewelry destinations in Dublin (Brown Thomas), Harrods of London, and most recently the world’s very first piercing destination in the Middle East at the Dubai Mall. Responsibilities The CAD Designer will help build a 3D library of all Maria Tash products based on STL files, and finished goods and modifying existing design to create something new. CAD models should capture hand finished details as these models will be used to create photorealistic renderings 3D library/catalog organization will align with process already established throughout the company – candidate must be flexible and willing to adapt to MT process. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Jewelry Design, Jewelry Arts, Industrial or Fashion Design, or Engineering Minimum 2 years of CAD experience specific to jewelry in Rhino and/or MatrixGold Understanding of Jewelry Manufacturing practices Understanding of stone setting practices high degree of aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail Experience working with diverse materials metals, gemstones and diamonds – A plus, not required Excellent written and verbal communication Strong team player with a high level of professionalism Ability to adapt and meet urgent timelines under high demand conditions Experience with 3D printers a plus Must be proficient in creating solid, workable polysurface files Must be able to follow direction Must be organized Must be flexible in adapting to Maria Tash CAD practices, file organization, etc.
