Schedule

Must be flexible to work assigned schedule mainly Monday through Friday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, some weekends, and holidays. Average hours per week is 20 hours.

Responsibilities

Unload product from freight. Tag, fold, hang and price merchandise to be put out on the sales floor or in back stockArrange merchandise in such a way to enhance the customer experienceRestock merchandise on sales floor and bring product to the floor for displayMaintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas. General cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areasAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’sAbility to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates of the organizationAbility to be organized, multi-task and maintain all aspects of a support roleAbility to work independently and with the teamExercise judgment and tact and be able to effectively work with all levels within the organizationStrong oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and in a timely mannerAbility to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagramDemonstrates attention to detailBe professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels’ policies and procedures Work assigned schedule

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or General Education Degree; and/or 1-3 months of data entry experience

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements

Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work - Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.
