New Orleans, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dry Cleaner Presser to join our team. The Presser is responsible for professionally pressing and finishing garments, ensuring they meet high-quality standards before being returned to customers. This role requires experience with pressing equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to handle different types of fabrics with care.

Essential Duties:

Operate pressing and finishing equipment to remove wrinkles and create a crisp, professional appearance on garments.Press a variety of clothing items, including shirts, pants, dresses, suits, and specialty fabrics.Ensure all garments meet company quality standards before final inspection.Identify stains, damages, or defects in garments and report them to the appropriate team member.Adjust heat, steam, and pressure settings according to fabric type and garment instructions.Maintain and clean pressing equipment to ensure efficient operation.Organize and handle customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and speed.Follow safety guidelines and proper handling procedures for all equipment and chemicals.

Qualifications:

Experience as a dry cleaner presser or in a similar role preferred.Knowledge of different fabrics and appropriate pressing techniques.Ability to work efficiently and meet production goals.Strong attention to detail and quality control.Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving garments.Team player with good communication skills.Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in extreme temperatures, including high heat in summer and cold conditions in winter.Standing for Long Periods – Must be able to stand, walk, and move continuously for extended shifts (typically 8-12 hours).Lifting and Carrying – Frequently lifting heavy objects (often 50+ lbs) and carrying materials across the warehouse.Education:
