Location: South Park, Banker's Hill + La Jolla (this is a multi-locational position)
Type: Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available- must be available weekends

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Client Specialist to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will be the face of Thread + Seed—delivering exceptional, feel-good customer service while styling clients and helping them curate thoughtful Build-a-Box gifts. Your energy, communication skills, and product knowledge will elevate the client experience, foster loyalty, and contribute to the overall success of our retail environment.

Responsibilities

Greet every customer warmly and create a welcoming, service-driven experience from the moment they walk in
Use the Thread + Seed Style Palette methodology to confidently style clients based on color profile, body type, and personal needs
Assist clients in curating Build-a-Box gifts, offering thoughtful recommendations for occasions, color themes, and recipient personalities
Demonstrate strong product knowledge through engaging explanations of features, benefits, and brand stories
Maximize sales through natural, relationship-based upselling and cross-selling
Maintain visually appealing merchandise displays through consistent restocking, folding, and merchandising
Promote store offerings—including our Style Palette service, Build-a-Box gifting, loyalty programs, and events
Support store operations by maintaining accurate sales records, restocking needs, and client notes

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail, client experience, or customer service preferred
A passion for fashion, styling, and gifting, with a desire to grow through our Style Palette training
Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math
Ability to execute merchandising tasks such as folding, stocking, and organizing displays
Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
Confident phone etiquette with a warm, friendly demeanor
Experience with upselling or client engagement strategies
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
A proactive, positive attitude with a desire to grow within the company
