TITLE: Cashier
REPORTS TO: Store Manager
OVERALL DUTIES: The Cashier is responsible for the general maintenance and overall organization of all point-of-sale transactions and to assist with the overall organization of the store. This role is up to 32 hours in a week.
Responsibilities:
Perform all point-of-sale (POS) cashier-level functionsGreet and provide prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable assistance to all customersAnswer all incoming calls and direct customer inquiries to the appropriate partyMaintain visual presentations that are consistent with policiesDemonstrate effective written and verbal communication skillsManage time and prioritize tasksAssist with maximizing sales volume with all transactionsSupport selling floor when necessaryOther duties as needed
Requirements:
Prior experience in retail preferableStrong organizational skillsSelf-motivated and ability to work independentlyPossesses strong interpersonal and communication skillsProficient computer skills
