Children's Apparel Designer

As our in-house Apparel Design Lead, you’ll own the full journey from concept to production, creating infant, toddler and children’s apparel and accessories that carry forward our strong brand identity; ensure accurate and timely development of samples to support our wholesale pre-sale schedule; and facilitate a production schedule that supports all distribution channels. • Production Management: In collaboration with our experienced Technical Design Assistant, serve as the primary liaison with manufacturers, managing prototyping, sampling, quality control, timelines, and cost negotiations to guide designs from development to final production. • Scheduling: Keep manufacturing on track as it relates to the sampling and production calendars for main seasonal collections and special projects, ensuring alignment with sales and customer service teams. Qualifications: • Experience: Minimum 4+ years in apparel design, with hands-on involvement in product development and production management. • Personal Attributes: Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
