The role of a Guest Advocate can provide you with the skills and experience of: • Communicating and interacting with guests to build anwelcoming guest experience • Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns • Adapting to different guest interactions and situations • Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services • Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed. • You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times). The good news is that we have some amazing training that will help teach you everything you need to know to be a Guest Advocate.But, there are a few skills you should have from the get-go: • Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members • Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks • Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
