Cashier/Customer Service

We are currently looking to hire a retail sales associate that can perform cashier duties, customer service, and help with intake, entering and sorting incoming merchandise. Looking for reliable applicants who pay attention to detail, passionate about small business, kids, clothing and love to make our consignors and customers feel welcomed. This position will assist the owner in greeting customers, consignors, process inventory and to be a part of this small family business.

Moments Shared is a children’s consignment store located in Vallejo, CA. We sell a variety of baby and kid related items including clothes, shoes, toys, baby gear and more! Our consignors are the heart of our business; we currently have more than 1,000 active consignors and add more every day.

Hours -

· Part time and on call as needed approx. 16-20 hours per week to start

· Weekend availability is a must

The sales associate --

Creates a fun and safe shopping environment
Keeps up on the latest trends in fashion and baby gear and shares their tips with our customers
Intakes and selects new merchandise by sorting through consignor’s items.
Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and great at multi-tasking.
Pays great attention to detail and accuracy.
Has a friendly, positive attitude and engages each customer; anticipating their needs and providing excellent customer service
Informs our customers of the current promotions
Performs cash register transactions and prevents loss through customer interaction and excellent customer service.
Assist with sorting & inputting incoming items.
Helps maintain a clean and organized environment and performing daily cleaning tasks
Performs all duties in accordance with our store and employee policies and guidelines

Requirements –

High school graduate and 18 years or older.
You will be required to walk and stand most of the day and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
Customer Service & Retail experience preferred but not required. Applicants should be comfortable using computers unassisted.

*Bilingual in Spanish a plus but not required'

No evenings or holidays required!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.90 per hour
