The Buyer – Value Concepts manages opportunistic buying responsibility for a category of products; this includes creating product assortments, developing assortment and pricing strategies and advertising. This role will work with Omni buyers and planners to understand product lifecycles and transition strategies, partner with existing vendors and work to build additional vendor relationships on opportunistic buys to ensure product assortment supports strategic initiatives and financial goals. Qualifications – External Achieve business objectives by creating, driving and ensuring execution of the merchandising strategies in our Value Concept stores. This includes assessing regional assortment opportunities to ensure market relevance. Build and manage relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams.
