Our client, a contemporary women’s brands in the DTC space, is looking for a data driven marketing strategist with a creative mind to lead, inspire, excite, and help grow their brand. The Director of Brand Marketing will be responsible for leading a team of 6-7 and creating, executing, and driving innovative and cost effective 360-degree brand marketing strategies and plans. Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of individuals in order to execute the brand vision day to day Strategize, develop, execute, and inspire a holistic brand strategy to drive awareness, new customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and accelerated business growth Oversee brand and product marketing campaigns including messaging strategy and 360* activations, ensuring team meets deadlines Work cross-functionally with creative and business teams to develop new programs and in season campaigns ahead of time, manage the production and delivery of these programs Manage department budget and optimize resource allocation for efficiency and return Partner with VP of Ecommerce on the marketing budget, email, site, and paid marketing strategies Oversee PR agency and collaboratively develop seasonal strategies to make sure strategy drives results Partner with VP Ecom, Art Director, and Project Manager to implement scalable processes and systems to help all teams work more seamlessly together and drive stronger ROIs Continuously evolve the brand strategy to make sure the brand stays current with macro trends and maintain relevance, while guiding the internal creative team to ensure what is developed stays true to the brand strategy and voice Oversee and be responsible for the correct execution of the brand guidelines across all touchpoints including owning approval of all brand assets Drive the seasonal strategy and vision by partnering with Editorial Director and Art Director, identifying themes and translate the message by channel Partner with Art Director to oversee all creative and production of the Company’s multimedia storytelling assets and ensure alignment with the Company’s brand platform, visual standards, and brand voice Deliver fresh integrated content across all channels Strategic development of programs and collateral for ecommerce as well as our retail partners. Manage and implement digital marketing opportunities and new programs Maintain effective communication to ensure all relevant departments are notified and included in planning and execution of marketing strategies Provide weekly updates to leadership team about project results and presentation of a go forward strategy-based testing throughout all the marketing channels. Qualifications: Strong understanding of all media channels and customer behavior with ability to uncover trends and leverage insights that are provided by team Understanding of all social media platforms, experience managing them, and leading strategy Well-versed in PR with experience managing in-house or agencies to drive strategy and execution for earned media and paid influencer Ability to identify and develop the right brand partnerships Experience in Creative storytelling and ability to edit the editorial director’s copy Creative mindset to effectively lead a creative team to develop campaigns from ideation to execution Elevated taste level, lives and breathes fashion Problem-solving ability with metric driven thinking Project management skills, to help prioritize workload or direct reports Motivated to join a small team and be a part of a growing company Ability to create a distinct marketing strategy and execute the brand vision from top of the funnel to lower funnel (brand building, partnerships, organic social, wholesale marketing, digital marketing from brand to performance marketing) BS/BA degree in marketing and communications Strong creative outlook with the ability to lead all marketing efforts Budget management, analytical and program management skills Confident and dynamic personality Proficiency in relevant computer software tools
