Komar, a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of apparel with a diverse portfolio of owned and licensed brands is seeking a Brand Manager. Candidates must have the abiltiy to work remotely and in our Jersey City, NJ office. Brand Manager - Manage development and execution of design concepts into garments according to T&A calendar and costing guidelines Job Responsibilities: Line Development Ensure dates for phases of line execution are maintained Build line assortment plan Shop comp stores / make recommendations to line Communicate with production about line development (sample status, trim status) Follow up with production to ensure timely receipt of samples Develop and present packaging / hangtag concepts Prepare collections for sales presentation (including labels/tags/hanger presentation) Responsible for coordinating Market catalog Costing Establish color names and color codes Maintain/update all style set up info – costs, packing, pre-pack, size ranges/breaks, factory codes Review with production labor and material costs Set up calc sheet Line Presentation Coordinate preparation of line samples for Market presentation Attend sales meeting to get the updates and adjustments to the line Coordinate sample needs for photography, advertising, etc Liaise with Sales manager to get feedback about key accounts Participate in post Market recap meetings Line Production Responsible for follow up on processing of calcs and final style set up in system. Review final line assortments to establish final standards for solid and print fabric color with production Address any potential minimum issues with production Coordinate resolution of any production issues Business AnalysisRecap units/$’s by group/month/silhouette for distribution Review weekly sales info; call out opportunities Review inventories for any available goods and communicate w/ Sales Ability to delegate and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Qualifications: 5 to 7 years of related experience (intimates, sleepwear, knitwear) Experience working with seasonal design development calendars Excellent communication and follow-up skills Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail Team player with great interpersonal and motivational skills
