Brand Ambassador/Market Assistant (Seasonal)

This part-time seasonal position is ideal for teens (18+), college students, retirees, or anyone looking for extra income who enjoys working with people and being part of a fun, community-focused market atmosphere.

As a Market Assistant, you will help with booth setup, customer service, sales, and keeping the display organized while helping create a smooth, enjoyable market experience for customers.

This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in retail, small business operations, merchandising, and customer service.

Pay Structure

Starting pay: $10/hour plus sales bonuses (no experience required). Pay increase available after training period (3–6 months) based on reliability, performance, and learning ability

$15/hour plus sales bonuses for applicants with prior retail, market, or customer service experience with verifiable references

Sales Bonus is based on net sales not including sales tax. Additional bonuses based on sales performance and consistency

Schedule (Seasonal Markets)

Saturdays in Atlanta (March–December)7:00 / 8:00 AM – 12:30 / 1:00 PM

Sundays in Smyrna (May–October)9:30 AM – 2:30 / 3:00 PM

Schedule may vary slightly depending on locations.

Duties

Set up and break down market booth, racks, and displays

Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service

Assist with sizing, product questions, and purchases

Operate POS system (Shopify) for transactions (training provided)

Keep booth clean, stocked, and visually organized

Help restock inventory during markets

Support sales by recommending coordinating items when appropriate

Assist with packing, organizing, or preparing inventory when needed

Requirements

Must be 18 or older

Reliable , dependable transportation

Punctual

Comfortable talking with customers

Able to stand for several hours

Able to lift bins, racks, and tables (up to ~30 lbs)

Available most Saturdays during market season

Comfortable working outdoors in market environments (rain/cold/sunny weather)
