Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our boutique clothing and gift store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, managing staff, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a keen understanding of inventory control and budgeting.
Duties
Manage all aspects of store operations including staffing, scheduling, and training employees.
Supervise daily activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Handle cash management processes, including cash handling and reconciliation.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering new inventory.
Communicate effectively with staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, adjust pricing strategies, and improve market competitiveness.
Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-merchandised at all times to provide an excellent shopping experience for customers.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain customer loyalty.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a retail management position is preferred.
Strong cash handling skills with a proven track record of accuracy.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
Experience in supervising staff with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Knowledge of inventory control processes and best practices.
Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions regarding pricing strategies.
