Role Description The Boutique Sales Manager/Sales Associate is a part-time, on-site role based in Allentown, PA. This role is responsible for greeting and assisting customers, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a positive in-store experience from arrival to checkout. Day-to-day tasks include managing the sales floor, maintaining visual merchandising standards, monitoring inventory levels, and processing transactions accurately. The role also involves supporting promotional activities, handling customer inquiries and concerns, and collaborating with team members to meet sales goals. A Boutique Sales Manager may additionally oversee daily store operations, train team members, and help implement sales strategies that drive revenue and repeat business.

Qualifications

Retail sales and customer service skills, including the ability to engage customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations.Basic merchandising and store presentation skills to maintain an organized, visually appealing sales floor.Point-of-sale and cash handling skills, with accuracy in ringing up sales and processing returns or exchanges.Communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.Time management and organizational skills to balance customer service, restocking, and other daily responsibilities.Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.Previous experience in retail, boutique sales, or fashion-related environments is preferred but not required.High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or coursework in retail, fashion, or business is a plus.
