Bottoms Up Boutique located downtown Anchorage on the outside of the Simon Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall (Corner of 6th Ave & C St), is seeking a Part Time Boutique Stylist & Assistant Manager. We specialize in fashion, Denim, locally made Alaskan gifts, and more.

We are seeking someone who is fashionable, energetic, fun, who likes a neat and clean space, organized, self-motivated and creative. This person should have retail experience or be very friendly and outgoing which will translate into great customer service to help customers find something that they will feel amazing in! In addition to sales and styling customers, this person will handle the schedule, must be great at social media, and a self-starter who is great at setting goals and tasks and getting things done. Fashion Sense, Appearance, and effort are a must. This person would also be in charge of creating and advertising for sales and promotions, pop-up events with local artist and First Fridays.

Job Tasks: customer service, styling, sales, scheduling, receiving orders, pricing, tagging, steaming inventory, cleaning, merchandising, answering the phone, rearranging the shop, packing and shipping online orders, social media, coming up with sales, promotions and event planning as needed. This position could also include some buying depending on availability.

We are open Monday - Saturday 11-630p and Sunday 12-5p. This is a part-time position, but more hours can be available depending on schedule and during the holiday season. We are looking for someone for any of these three schedule options:

Option #1: Tue-Sat (40 hrs/wk)

Option #2: Wed-Sat (32 hrs/wk)

Option #3: Mon, Wed, Saturday (24 hrs/wk).

Some additional hours are available for after hours floor sets, inventory, and sales/event set up. This person could also cover other workers if they need time off and could work later if we have in-store events (I.e. First Fridays).

Beginning wages are $20 while training, then $22-30 per hour depending on experience.

Because we are a small downtown Anchorage business and have one person working per shift, we are seeking someone who is confident working alone in the shop and highly self motivated.

We run a very small crew of 2 Employees. Because of this, when someone cannot work when scheduled, it is very difficult to fill a shift especially on short notice. Things happen, but overall do you like & want to work? Are you reliable and do you come into work when you are scheduled to? Are you good at communicating as soon as you know you are unable to work?
