BENEFITS MANAGER

Job Summary: The Benefits Manager will be responsible for ensuring all benefits plans and programs are competitive, cost-effective, legally compliant and supportive of The Children’s Place’s strategic objectives. He/she/they will partner closely with the Vice President, Total Rewards to drive the overall strategy, design, implementation and communication of the Company’s programs in support of the company’s multiple employee groups in a variety of environments including corporate, retail stores, distribution centers and international offices. Responsibilities: Key Accountabilities: Design and administer Company benefit plans and policies for the US, Puerto Rico and Canada including but not limited to medical, prescription, dental, vision, transit, FSAs, voluntary benefits, EAP, perks, 401(k) and non-qualified deferred compensation plan benefits Serve as the subject matter expert of Leave of Absence Administration including FMLA, ADA, disability, paid family leaves and state-specific requirements Consult and advise on benefit plan design for associates outside of North America Manage relationships with benefits brokers, carriers and other external vendors to ensure service delivery standards are met Lead all benefits RFPs and maintain responsibility for contract renewals in partnership with the Legal team Manage annual open enrollment activities and communications Coordinate on-site meetings, educational events and wellness activities for corporate, retail stores and distribution centers Ensure all programs are in compliance with government regulations Partner with Finance team in managing the Benefits budget, invoices and claims Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience designing and implementing benefits programs Working knowledge of human resources information systems; Workday and bswift experience preferred Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence and persuade senior leaders Superior critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate and effectively build relationships, with a focus on inclusion and teamwork Skills and Behaviors: Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner Exceptional integrity and judgment, as well as discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive information and situations Demonstrated ability to handle complex and sometimes ambiguous issues/situations with multiple stakeholders at every level of the organization. Flexible and driven to work towards multiple deadlines with shifting priorities; should have “sense of urgency” to meet business expectations
