A day in the life... - Set and achieve sales goals, for both in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools (inclusive of text and social media) - Seek industry trends and product knowledge to maintain expertise - Initiate service consultations by asking open-ended questions to learn the customer's preferences and needs - Build lasting relationships with customers by following up on purchases, suggesting new products and inviting them to upcoming events - Grow sales by focusing on appointment-based selling , utilizing technology and opening new Nordstrom Rewards accounts - Be an entrepreneur, create events in the store, and network in the community - Build and maintain strong vendor relationships within each Beauty brand to identify key focuses and products - The hours and schedule for this position will vary by week depending on business needs You own this if you have... - 1+ years of Beauty industry experience - The ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organization and follow-through - A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative - The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment We've got you covered...
