A day in the life… • Set and achieve sales goals, for both in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools (inclusive of text and social media) • Seek industry trends and product knowledge to maintain expertise • Initiate service consultations by asking open-ended questions to learn the customer's preferences and needs • Build lasting relationships with customers by following up on purchases, suggesting new products and inviting them to upcoming events • Grow sales by focusing on appointment-based selling, utilizing technology and opening new Nordstrom Rewards accounts • Be an entrepreneur, create events in the store, and network in the community • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships within each Beauty brand to identify key focuses and products • The hours and schedule for this position will vary by week depending on business needs You own this if you have… • 1+ years of Beauty industry experience • The ability to work a flexible schedule based on department needs • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organization and follow-through • A high level of ownership, accountability and initiative • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment There may be additional duties, responsibilities and qualifications for this job.
