Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and innovative Baby Clothing and Consumables Designer to craft adorable, comfortable, and stylish apparel . Responsibilities • Develop original baby clothing designs from initial concept through final production, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market trends • Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and digital prototypes using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Adobe Illustrator • Collaborate with product development teams to select fabrics, colors, and embellishments based on color theory and current fashion trends • Oversee the entire product lifecycle management process, including sample creation, fitting sessions, and production coordination • Conduct research on fabric properties, garment construction techniques, and safety standards relevant to baby apparel • Stay informed about fashion retail trends and incorporate merchandising strategies into design concepts to maximize market appeal • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure quality control during production while adhering to safety regulations for infant clothing Skills • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator) for designing and illustrating apparel concepts • Experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for technical pattern making and garment visualization • Strong understanding of garment construction techniques specific to baby clothing, including sewing machine operation and sewing skills • Knowledge of product lifecycle management processes from design inception to retail release • Background in fashion design with an emphasis on infant apparel or related categories • Familiarity with fashion styling, graphic design, color theory, and illustration techniques to create compelling visual presentations • Ability to interpret merchandising strategies and translate them into innovative clothing designs • Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams including product development, manufacturing, and marketing This paid position offers a dynamic environment where your creativity can flourish while making a meaningful impact on families everywhere.
