This is not an entry or senior level position. Candidates must reside in commutable distance to our New Rochelle, NY offices as this is an on-site position. Involvement in PD&D for private brand customers including trend research, sketching, sample development, approvals and follow up under the direction of the PD&D team R&D and day to day follow up on assigned private brands including collaboration with sales, pd&d, production, and private brand customers. Technical Design, initial technical specs, measuring in garments and involvement in fittings Assist with CAD presentations – flats, colorway boards, prints, placed graphics, team graphics, 3D presentations Requirements – Degree with major in Apparel Design 3-6 years industry experience in Apparel PD&D - knits and wovens Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Technical experience to create specs, measure in and comment on samples 3D experience a plus but not a requirement Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure Someone who can create with both a creative and business mindset Strong communication and multi-tasking skills Detail oriented, well organized, and proactive Reside within reasonable commuting distance to our New Rochelle offices. The fulltime position is onsite, not remote.
