Associate Technical Designer - Sweaters: In this role, you will be responsible for the technical design of men’s and uniform sweaters under the guidance of the Senior Technical Designer and support the technical design responsibilities of women’s sweater category. Create and maintain tech packs (including technical detail sketches, graded measurements, packaging and labeling) that translates the intention of the style accurately Collaborate with Vendors to proactively identify, trouble shoot and advise on the fit, production, quality and costing issues to ensure brand integrity while maintaining design intent Track fit sample status and prepare samples for fitting – measure samples, evaluate samples for fitting for on time approval Conduct and support fit sessions with Design, Merchant and Sourcing teams to evaluate fit along with design intent Write detailed fit and specification comments Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, apparel production or textiles 2+ years of technical design in sweaters preferred Knowledge of sweater fit and construction Knowledge of pattern making and pattern grading, apparel production.
