Purpose: Strategically interpret and develop the commercialization and engineering of product to meet design vision, merchant requirements and company financial goals. Responsibilities Core Accountabilities: Adhere to calendar deadlines for on-time delivery of product Recommend materials and construction techniques to meet or exceed IMU goals set by Merchandising Use PLM system to manage technical specs for assigned departments from Design hand-off to Production Work closely with Design counterpart to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the technical development process Manage ordering of development samples, including complete sample tracking process, to ensure samples arrive on-time to meet calendar deadlines and key presentation meetings. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
