Associate Production Manager, Fashion Apparel

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Associate Production Manager to support production execution from purchase order issuance through final delivery. This role will be responsible for managing production timelines, factory communication, shipment tracking, and delivery performance across multiple customer programs.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Manage production timelines and WIP tracking for assigned programs

• Monitor factory production schedules and milestone deadlines

• Communicate daily with factories regarding production status and shipment timing

• Track purchase orders, production updates, and delivery schedules

• Coordinate production approvals with internal teams

Factory & Vendor Communication

• Maintain regular communication with overseas factories and suppliers

• Identify and resolve production delays or quality concerns

• Escalate issues proactively and recommend solutions

• Ensure adherence to company delivery standards

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams regarding inbound shipments

• Track shipment schedules and delivery performance

• Support inventory planning and production forecasting

Process & Reporting

• Maintain accurate WIP reports and production trackers

• Update internal stakeholders on production status

• Assist with production planning and operational improvements

• Help establish scalable production processes as the company grows

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of apparel production, sourcing, or manufacturing experience

• Strong understanding of apparel production processes

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Strong follow-up and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Overseas factory management experience

• Fashion, activewear, or private label production experience

• ERP, Excel, Google Workspace, and production tracking systems experience

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000–$80,000 annually (negotiable based on experience)
