ASSOCIATE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (MEN & WOMEN) - NAUTICA

The Product Development Associate will work within the Special Op’s (Off-Price and Clubs) channel of business. They will work across all product categories within each channel. Candidate will work closely with the Merchants to execute and deliver seasonal data entry, market tools, sample tracking, material record keeping and seasonal development support. Responsibilities Development Support: • Support Product Development Associates in updating tech packs and cads as needed• Request/follow up on new Marketing, as well as maintaining Marketing samples and records• Enter sku plan data into CAP tool system• Coordinate with cross functional partners to execute images/web text for marketing needs• Utilize illustrator skills to convert sketches to PNGs for line sheets• Maintain organized submit records and Merch keep samples• Send prints and graphics to Legal for approval as needed• Log in PP/TOP samples and distribute to Sales after Merch review• Request/follow up on fabric codes• Create PowerPoint presentations as needed• Add artwork into vendor files Market Prep:• Support Product Development Associates in updating tech packs and cads as needed• Request/follow up on new Marketing, as well as maintaining Marketing samples and records• Enter sku plan data into CAP tool system• Coordinate with cross functional partners to execute images/web text for marketing needs• Utilize illustrator skills to convert sketches to PNGs for line sheets• Maintain organized submit records and Merch keep samples• Send prints and graphics to Legal for approval as needed• Log in PP/TOP samples and distribute to Sales after Merch review• Request/follow up on fabric codes• Create PowerPoint presentations as needed• Add artwork into vendor filesOther:• Attend weekly PDR meetings to build cross-functional partnerships.• Attend team store visits & provide competitive shopping recaps.• Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree; focus in Merchandising, Design, Product Development or related field • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Desl or similar product management system• Knowledge of fabrics, specs, technical sketching and garment construction• High attention to detail• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple categories• Ability to work in a professional, fast paced environment where priorities can shift daily• Displays a sense of urgency; manages time efficiently and can meet tight deadlines• Self-motivated with a strong ability to self-manage and define priorities of the department/business• Strong multi-tasker; flexible to changing priorities• Strong written and verbal communication• Strong organization and follow up skills• Flexibility in job responsibilities as business needs grow and change Strong organization and follow up skills Required Skills SPARC Group LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
