Associate Pattern Designer

Associate Pattern Designer: We are looking for a hard working graduate to take on the role of Associate Pattern Maker and Pattern Developer. This position is in New Providence, NJ and requires one to be present in the office and not work remotely. Our ideal candidate will have a patternmaking background and more ideally knowledge of the Gerber Software platform (or similar). You will be working directly with and report to Ladies Wear Development Manager, the head patternmaker and the company’s COO. Job Responsibilities: Assist in the development of the women's Custom Clothing Line while learning to build and develop the computer aided altering patterns, perfecting the fit Creating, testing and debugging alterations on new and existing models Enter, track and follow-up with all testing and FIT samples Create, document, update and manage design & portfolio documents of all testing and working models Assist with creating and maintaining model chart and measurement tables Collaborate in product fittings Problem solve order issues Constant communication with domestic and international factories Timely responses and follow-up with all inquiries
