ASSOCIATE PACKAGING DESIGNER - Temp to Perm

We are looking for a remote Freelance Associate Packaging Designer for a top fashion company in New York City!This person will support packaging for home category, beauty, accessories, apparel, and CPG.Responsibilities: Creates accurate packaging production files for a broad range of packaging types Translates private label graphics from style guides and templates Works with clients to understand their needs. Evaluates consumer and market trends for packaging materials Executes both interior and exterior production ready artwork that is attractive and high quality Develops and executes packaging that is on-brief and on-time Supports packaging team projects during workload peak Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Art, Design, or related field 3-5 years Applicable work experience in packaging design and production Private label experience a plus (consumer products, home industry) Must have own computer setup for remote work Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Mac/PC operating systems Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong ability to collaborate with other colleagues
