Role Description The Associate role at LOFT in Grove City, PA is a part-time, on-site position focused on delivering an excellent in-store experience for customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting and engaging customers, understanding their needs, and providing style guidance and product recommendations. Associates support store operations by replenishing merchandise, maintaining visual standards, organizing fitting rooms, and keeping selling areas clean and inviting. The role also involves processing transactions accurately, handling returns and exchanges, and promoting current offers and loyalty programs. Associates collaborate with team members and leaders, follow store policies and procedures, and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment aligned with LOFT’s brand values.

Qualifications

Customer service and retail sales skills, including the ability to engage customers, build rapport, and support a personalized shopping experience.Communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with customers, peers, and leaders in a fast-paced store environment.Organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, maintain visual standards, and support daily store operations.Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) skills, with attention to detail when processing transactions and managing inventory-related tasks.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Interest in fashion and styling, with the ability to learn product features and trends and translate them into customer recommendations.Previous retail or customer-facing experience is helpful but not required; a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant experience providing strong customer service and teamwork.
