Associate Designer – Temp to Perm. We are a growing apparel manufacturing company located in midtown Manhattan. We specialize in the OPP customer and looking for a designer to add to our team freelance with a possible full time opportunity. This is a great opportunity for a designer looking to grow and learn. We hang in stores such as Ross, Burlington and Variety Skills and Qualifications: -Must have a formal Design education -At least 5+ years of Design experience in Missy & Juniors woven and knit tops -Must have advanced skills in Photoshop and Illustrator -Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines in a fast- paced work environment -Must be able to take direction and work independently -Highly organized and detail oriented -Positive and professional attitude -Understands the OPP customer Job Responsibilities: -Identify new trends, innovations, opportunities for design concepts -Provide reliable and responsible support to Design Director and VP -Draw accurate flat sketches and detailed sketches -Create new trend right prints and set- up for factory -Help research and create seasonal color cards
