Seeking an assistant designer to support the design and production team in the seasonal design development and production process, from concept to delivery. Key function will be to work closely with the Lead Designer to provide support in the design/production process from conception to final production. Contribute to concept/research inspiration, trends, and print development continuously throughout each season. Assist Creative Director with the design and execution of branding needs and packaging needs, including the creation of original designs (global packaging, PR, licensing, corporate communication and customer experience initiatives, etc. ), good knowledge of Excel Strong knowledge of print rendering, repeats and print submission process as well as vendor communication Understanding of garment construction and FIT measurements General understanding of color, print development and creating repeats Experience with technical design process & creating detailed tech packs for both garments and prints Must be highly organized, motivated, proactive and a team player Positive attitude Strong communication skills and ability to work well in multiple areas of development Ability to problem solve and multitask
