ASSOCIATE DATA SCIENTIST, MARKETING (Digital Marketing Analyst)

The role will be a key catalyst for driving data driven Marketing Analytics within the organization which will place both the Consumer (and her Data) at the core of Marketing. In all areas of responsibility, influence customer marketing decisions within brands to be more data informed − Be a champion for data-based decisions, proactively socializing data to inform business decisions − Provide forward looking insights to identify opportunities and risks to the business (30%) Development and adoption of Data Driven Marketing Analytics deliverables, related to, but not limited to: − Key reporting and metrics to analytics manager, CRM team leader and the entire marketing team − Synthesis data to provide trend metrics to identify opportunities for the business − Provide forward looking reporting to provide visibility for business planning and customer marketing and loyalty plan development − Addressing Ad Hoc analytics requests as needed − Key contributor in all predictive analytics and data modeling efforts, including building models − Work closely with team members to provide accurate forecast projections/goals across marketing channels (20%) Analytics oversight and monitoring of all direct to customer marketing programs, including our loyalty and Carters Credit Card programs - Strategic thought-partner to our direct to customer marketing, loyalty, and private label credit card programs, providing insights and data analytics for best performance, identifying opportunities to drive customer engagement and loyalty − List selection of email, SMS and app push customers using customer segmentation analysis and insights − Analyze and interpret data using analytics tools to evaluate existing and potential customer and loyalty marketing, carters credit card and personalization programs − Deliver reporting and recommendations to customer and loyalty marketing, CRM, and personalization program leadership (25%) Marketing Experimentation (Test design and analysis) − Set up marketing experiments/test designs to continuously test new marketing ideas across different customer segments to aid Carters personalization efforts − Measure marketing tests and identify as well as communicate key learnings and recommendation of marketing tactics for different customer segments (25%) Develop new reports and visuals trends on customer behavior metrics − Develop and deliver on daily, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting to provide marketing leadership clear visibility to direct marketing and customer performance − Suggest opportunities of various forms of marketing application based on desired effects − Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users/ business analysts to define technical and process requirements − Enhance existing reporting tools on an on-going basis to accommodate evolving business needs. 3 or more years of experience with general reporting and database query tools such as SQL 3 or more years of experience developing and presenting recommendations based on data analysis 3 or more years of experience working with CRM databases and general customer analytics 3 or more years of experience working with adobe analytics or related digital analytics tool eCommerce & Retail experience required Marketing analytic experience required Experience working in a direct marketing environment, preferably with an online retailer a plus Experience in a consulting role or business advisory role a plus STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) Carters is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
